Vickers and Barrass Chartered Surveyors, a leading name in rural chartered surveying, is delighted to announce the well-deserved promotions of two of its dedicated professionals, Alan Falshaw, PgD FAAV ABIAC and Amanda Boon MRICS FAAV. These promotions come as the firm continues its strategic expansion throughout the North East, signifying a new phase of growth and commitment to the businesses routes.

Both Alan Falshaw and Amanda Boon will take up the esteemed role of Associates, a recognition of their exceptional contributions to the firm and the industries they serve.

Alan Falshaw, who studied Rural Estate and Land Management at Harper Adams University and has worked extensively in agricultural consultancy across the North East of England, has proven himself to be an invaluable asset to the firm. As a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and an Associate of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants, Alan’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in his journey at Vickers and Barrass Chartered Surveyors.

Amanda Boon, originally from North Yorkshire has achieved significant milestones in her career. Having qualified as a Rural Chartered Surveyor in 2018, she further solidified her expertise by becoming a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) in 2019. Her passion for the rural landscape and dedication to her work have been widely recognised and since joining Vickers & Barrass in October 2022, has brought growth of client base along with valuable skills to assist with the services offered.

Vickers and Barrass Chartered Surveyors operates from two strategic locations, with offices in Tow Law and within the Darlington Farmers’ Auction Mart. This expansion demonstrates the firm’s commitment to serving the needs of rural communities and agricultural clients across the region.
