The slurry infrastructure grant

To be eligible for this scheme, the applicant’s farming system must already produce slurry, from either pigs; beef; dairy.

Both landowners and tenants are eligible for the Grant. The Grant can be used:

  • To replace existing stores that are no longer fit for purpose
  • Add additional storage, where there is some existing suitable storage, but not 6 months
  • Expand existing storage, for example by adding another ring to a suitable steel tank.

The Grant will provide funding toward the costs of slurry storage, based on standard costs. The Grant figures are based on 50% of current market costs.

Minimum grant of £25,000 maximum of £250,000
