Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship Agreements
DEFRA has announced that farmers/land managers with Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship Agreements set to end in December 2025 will be offered a 1 year extension.
Due to the Sustainable Farming Incentive currently being closed, these agreement holders have been unable to plan a replacement scheme.
This offer will give some short-term relief to existing agreement holders.
