Duo join our expanding team in Darlington

Vickers & Barrass Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agency continues to strengthen with the addition of two new team members.

Amanda Wilson joins as Rural Surveyor and Amanda Falshaw as an Accompanied Viewer. “We are really excited to welcome Amanda and Amanda as part of our expanding team at our Darlington Office” says Holly Stafford Director and Chartered Surveyor who runs the Darlington office. “We were looking for a certain skill set to join our brand to assist us in taking our growth plans forward and both Amandas fit the bill perfectly”

Amanda Wilson MRICS FAAV graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with an RICS accredited degree. Amanda worked as a Hydrographic Surveyor primarily in the North Sea oil and gas industry for four years before deciding to keep her feet firmly on the ground in 2016 when she joined a local firm of Chartered Surveyors. Amanda has been working across North Yorkshire,  Durham and Northumberland for the past six years for a firm of Chartered Surveyors. With a strong background in Estate Agency and vast experience in Rural Surveying she will be responsible for a variety of work; from sales and valuations to planning, stewardship and utilities.

Amanda Falshaw BA (Hons) joins the Estate Agency side of the business having enjoyed a long career in the hospitality sector, dealing with luxury and corporate markets. Primarily Amanda and her husband farmed for 24 years near Barnard Castle, running a successful tearoom. She understands the county and has a love for property and interiors.
