The land is situated in Weardale in County Durham and lies approximately 1.5 miles to the north of St Johns Chapel in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The location is identified by a red circle on the location plan.

Both lots are accessed directly from a track leading from the public highway known as Side Head at Carr Brow.

Lot 1 comprises 21.16 hectares (52.28 acres) of upland grazing with natural water supplies.
Lot 2 comprises 9.50 hectares (23.48 acres) of mixed meadow and pastureland, along with a small range of farm buildings.

Both lots have separate accesses directly from a byway open to all traffic and stock proof, predominantly stone wall boundaries.
