A block of ancient woodland extending to approximately 0.486 Ha (1.20 acres) on the outskirts of Prudhoe, Tyne & Wear. The wood is designated as ancient and natural woodland with mainly broadleaved species and forms part of Beaumount woodland, Prudhoe and would be suited for both amenity and lifestyle purposes.

There are some magical mature specimens that form part of the National Inventory of woodland trees.
